About Us
Governance
In line with the principles established by the founder, Sheikh Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi – may Allah preserve him – as stated in the endowment deed, which emphasized the importance of sound governance across the endowment and its affiliated entities, the Board of Trustees has committed to adopting an integrated governance and compliance framework. This framework is designed to protect the endowment, enhance its impact, and ensure the sustainability of its giving. It achieves this through the formation of boards and committees, the clear definition of roles and authorities, and the organization of relationships with stakeholders.
This governance and compliance framework is continuously developed to align with official regulations and global best practices. Its objectives include:
1. Defining roles and responsibilities across all levels relevant to the Board of Trustees.
2. Supporting the achievement of the endowment’s vision, mission, and objectives.
3. Ensuring continuity, efficiency, and excellence in the management of the endowment.
4. Strengthening the endowment’s leadership in supervising and enhancing its disbursement channels.
5. Ensuring compliance with the provisions of the endowment deeds.
6. Promoting the principles and practices of disclosure and transparency.
7. Regulating the relationship with stakeholders.
